Trailer Of The Week - Week #37

Back in 2006 a little film sneaked out to fairly little attention. Four years on, that film is still making many people's 'Best Of The Decade' list and would certainly make ours if we, erm... ever get around to writing it. Directed by the man who had two years earlier finished Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban, Alfonso CuarĂ³n's Children Of Men has become something of a modern classic, notable in particular for its single-shot action sequences. Clive Owen is brilliant as the reluctant hero who must get the last pregnant women on Earth to the safety of the coast. Emotional, action-packed and completely different from the normal post-apocalyptic nonsense, if you haven't seen this yet, you're in for a treat.

Trailer Of The Week is a regular Film Intel feature which picks a different tasty trailer of delectable goodness every week and presents it on Sunday for your viewing pleasure. Sometimes old, sometimes new, sometimes major, sometimes independent, sometimes brilliant, sometimes a load of old bobbins: always guaranteed to entertain.
