Beautiful Bits of Animation, Not in The Style of The Film They're In

This is a growing trend. By which I mean I've spotted it twice. Still. It was lovely both times. Please do more of it. If only to retrospectively prove me right.

Hand-drawn flashbacks and menus in Kung-Fu Panda 2

The Tale Of The Three Brothers in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army's prologue as suggested by The Void

O-Ren Ishii's back story in Kill Bill: Volume One as suggested by Lebamski

Any more for any more?

  1. Hellboy 2: The Golden Army in the prologue segment where John Hurt's character tells the young Hellboy the story about the Golden Army.

  2. O-Ren Ishii's back story told through a superb anime sequence in Kill Bill Volume 1.

  3. Are we including opening credits? If so Tintin would be a good one. I think Pan's Labryinth had a sort of stop motion section in it

  4. Good work gang! Updated, apart from the Tintin credits, which the internet doesn't seem to have grabbed yet.
