Trailer Of The Week - Week #43 - The Armstrong Lie

Listening to and watching reviews of recent releases, I feel like I've heard tell of Julian Assange's decision not to take part in We Steal Secrets or The Fifth Estate time and time again. With that in mind, seeing that The Armstrong Lie features its subject is refreshing, though you suspect it might provide some evidence as to why pop culture hero/villains should normally take the Assange route and get as far away from critiques of their actions as possible. Alex Gibney's documentary would probably have been unmissable without its subject, but with Lance Armstrong here it seems like a must see, if only because this trailer seems to hint that the disgraced cyclist still retains his untouchable arrogance, despite his now confirmed guilt. A fascinating two-minutes, hopefully endemic of the two hour-plus film.
