Trailer Of The Week - Week #36

Today is Paddy Considine's birthday and we here at Film Intel would like to celebrate the only way we know how, by featuring him in our very own Trailer Of The Week. OK, that's not the only way we know how, but seeing as he's not here we'll just have to drink his half of the bottle of finest Scotch we brought for the occasion. The film of choice is, in our opinion, still Shane Meadows' finest hour: the dark and disturbing Dead Man's Shoes, a film we picked a while ago as one of the most under-appreciated of the noughties. A simple tale of revenge, Considine plays ex-army man Richard, returning to his hometown to exact vengeance on the drug-dealers who made his brother's life a living hell. So, you all sit there and watch this, whilst we have a little drink. Chin chin!

Trailer Of The Week is a regular Film Intel feature which picks a different tasty trailer of delectable goodness every week and presents it on Sunday for your viewing pleasure. Sometimes old, sometimes new, sometimes major, sometimes independent, sometimes brilliant, sometimes a load of old bobbins: always guaranteed to entertain.
