There's precious few inspiring trailers around at the moment and so, rather than go digging into the archives, we've gone for an inspiring short film for Trailer Of The Week instead. The Fantastic Flying Books Of Mr. Morris Lessmore won the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film at the ceremony last week and, despite the animation being a little rough, it's easy to see why. The music is joyous and the simple story - surrounding a love of reading, a bit of magic, Buster Keaton and The Wizard Of Oz - oozes the attention that has clearly been heaped on it. One to show the kids; like the best Pixar, it's intelligent, with understanding of cinematic legacy to spare.
